Rifat Aluminum Packaging Ltd. was founded in 2013 to meet the growing pharmaceutical sector's need for locally-produced primary packaging. Just a few years earlier, Bangladesh imported the majority of its Alu Alu Bottom Foil from abroad.
We built the country's first international-standard Alu Alu Bottom Foil plant at Gazipur Industrial Zone, and have supplied Bangladesh's pharmaceutical industry since 2014. Today we hold roughly 60% domestic market share, competing directly with well-established international sources.
